Development plans of Khorasan Steel Complex Co

Khorasan Steel Complex Co is considered the largest producer of steel sections in the east of Iran and formulates its plans not only around benefiting from the competitive advantage of access to iron ore reserves, but also in line with the comprehensive development of the steel industry in the east of the country. In order to provide sustainable feed for the production unit, this company plans to increase the production capacity of sponge iron in direct reduced units to 3.1 million tons and pellet production unit to 3.4 million tons per year. In addition, in the development plans of Khorasan Steel Complex Co, the construction of a concentrate production unit with a capacity of 2.5 million tons per year is defined near Sangan mineral resource. Another part of the development projects of Khorasan Steel Complex Co has been defined in order to provide water, electricity and gas supply infrastructures along with the development of capacities, production inputs which are also provided and there is no concern regarding the advancement of production goals.
