Khorasan Steel a Model for Development and Job Creation

Members of coordinating council of organizations, economic enterprises and related companies with Labor Ministry held a meeting at Khorasan Steel Company in Neishabour.
During the tenth meeting of the council which was aimed at convergence of companies and industrial and economic enterprises and affiliated companies to Labor Ministry, the participants reviewed the most important issues related to this group.
Addressing the meeting, head of the council Mr. Hassan Amini said that the main goal of the council is to create convergence among the establishment bodies, investors and economic enterprises in the province with an eye on reviewing problems and consultation for solving them.
He also praised Khorasan Steel Complex for its efforts to create jobs, adding that employing potentials for easing the production process in organizations like Khorasan Steel and other companies which create jobs is necessary in the current condition of the country.
Amini added that one of the major tasks of the government and establishment’s tasks is to monitor problems and issues of economic enterprises, adding that such meetings are held to review the problems and to find solutions.
He said due to establishment of some key industries and existence of three industrial parks in Neishabour, the number of population in the town is currently around 450,000 and around 97,000 people are under social welfare insurance.
He went on to say that the unemployment rate in the town is 11.3 percent, adding that officials had set targets for creating 5275 jobs in the current year.
At the end of the meeting, the CEO of Khorasan Steel Company announced readiness of the company for materializing the goals and targets of the council.
